Dragon Boating

What it is: A 2-3 minute race in a 40-foot canoe with twenty of your new/best friends. We paddle really hard, hope for the best, and work as a team. The town typically has a festival for the weekend with a parade and other fun activities to celebrate the Dragon Boat races.

Hiking the Superior Hiking Trail

This great annual trip is a "Women in the Wild" favorite. It is a perfect girlfriend's getaway or chance to come alone and make new friends. We have been tackling sections of the Superior Hiking Trail for many years and camp together as a group.

Dog Sledding

Or more accurately our "Winter Sampler" is another WITW favorite. Whether you lounge all weekend, and use this time as a pause from your busy life, or use it as a time to discover your next favorite winter hobby, this weekend has something for everyone!

Choose to bike, kayak, hike, or just Pause for a weekend with friends in differing locations.

Sailing the Apostle Islands

We board the evening before our trip and spend two days and two nights exploring islands, beaches, caves, and everything else that Lake Superior has to offer.
